Description

Santadi, Terre Brune Superiore 2013 , 0.75L*6

Santadi

In the 1960s a group of producers in the Sulcis area, south-western Sardinia, came

together to create Cantina Santadi with the common goal of creating great Sardinian

wines and improving the quality of local viticulture.

In the 1980s, Cantina Santadi was joined by Dr. Giacomo Tachis, Italy's most

influential enologist and creator of some of Italy's most famous red wines including

Sassicaia and Tignanello, who introduced French oak barriques (a first in Sardinia)

and helped the winery achieve their goal of creating world class wines.

Terre Brune Carignano del Sulcis Superiore 2013

Terre Brune is a landmark wine: made by the creator of some of

Italy's great red wines like Sassicaia and Tignanello and the first

Sardinian wine to be aged in French oak barriques, this wine is a

must-try for all those who like full-bodied reds.
