Vespa

When famous Italian journalist Bruno Vespa decided to build a winery, he had very
clear ideas: he went straight to Puglia, a land whose landscape and wines he deeply
loves, and immediately called his friend Riccardo Cotarella, one of Italy's most
famous wine-makers.
Vespa works exclusively with native varieties like Primitivo and the rare Nero di
Troia, an old red grape that was almost extinct; the combination of great terroir and
world-class wine-makingmade Vespa's wine an instant hit, winning some of the most
prestigious awards both in Italy and abroad.



Helena Nero di Troia 2014

This is the first time that Vespa winery makes a red using 100%
Nero di Troia, an old grape from Puglia that was almost extinct. A
rare and powerful red wine made in very limited quantities.
